Faucher School of Dance - Providing quality dance education

The Faucher Dance Company is an elite group of students who have proven to be outstanding seasoned performers. Participation in the school’s Company is by invitation OR evaluation/audition (new students) only, after careful observation by all instructors. These students are expected to devote their time to rehearsal and training, and to excel inside and outside of the studio each and every week. All students must pay close attention to their academic studies so they are not to fall behind in school. Membership in the Company requires dedication, commitment, teamwork, and time. The Company represents the dance school in professional settings so it is mandatory that students practice their dance routines consistently and also practice good manners and exceptional sportsmanship.

Students who accept the offer must be ready to spend many hard-working hours at the studio, extra rehearsals, and jam-packed competition weekends at local or semi-local events. Parents should be prepared for more carpooling and other expenses, including costumes and event fees. However, participation in the Company will provide endless opportunities for the students. It is a great learning experience to push dancers to the limits through such an extraordinary art and athleticism. Many events give the opportunity to attend nationals where the competition becomes greater and more challenging. These events also offer master classes from time to time to greatly broaden the students’ dance knowledge! Often scholarships are given for wonderful performance or training opportunities.
